If your dreams of miniature aviation are soundtracked by the stirring sounds of Wagner's 'Ride Of The Valkyries' and countless exploding Vietnamese forests, then the Micro Gyro Apache will knock your socks off. Like our other RC helicopters, it's a hoot to fly and extremely easy (thanks to the gyroscope stability) to control, and you can even use the flashing lights to attack under cover of darkness. You'll have no end of fun storming sofa-based enemy hideouts and attempting to overthrow the cat's rule of the kitchen - it's so addictive you'll wish they hadn't gotten rid of conscription. From a more practical point of view, though, the Micro Gyro Apache is rather user-friendly. Re-charging can be quickly achieved by using the USB connection or, if you're not au-fait with the computer world, simply attaching the chopper to the handset. The handset will not only allow you to control the thing, but you can also turn the LED lights on and off while you're flying.
